A&P District Practice – Winchester Cathedral

Meet at 7pm for a 7.15pm ascent.

Experience ringing at this very special Cathedral Tower with fellow District Ringers!

All A&P District Tower members welcome

Ringing will be from rounds upwards – speak to Jess if you’d like guidance about attending 😊

Support from as many of our experienced ringers as possible would be much appreciated 🙂

Meeting point & time:

Meet in the covered walkway on the south side of the Cathedral by 7:00pm, and we will ascend the Tower as a group until 7:15pm.

The door to the Tower will be locked when the last ringers have entered the Cathedral – so to avoid disappointment, please do not be late!

There may be an opportunity to view the bells before the Practice starts (t.b.c.)……..if this is possible,  you must be there promptly by 7pm, as you will need to be in the first Group to ascend the Tower.

Please wear appropriate shoes for climbing the narrow spiral staircase!

Car Parking:

NO CAR PARKING IN THE INNER CLOSE!!
