Guild Public Relations Officer

Engaging with the Public’ Leaflet
Ideas and tips to successfully engage the public with your ringing and associated activities: Easy to use ‘mix-and-match’ format to help you to put together the ideas which will work for you locally.

It is preferable to use local photos, of course, with required permissions in place, but often the media need photos urgently….these could well be helpful

These flyers benefit from being produced in colour. ‘W & P’ does have a modest supply, currently held by The Master. Local contact details can be added in addition to the Guild contact; we have found by leaving the Guild contact in place, alongside the local details, it assists visitors to our area and is thought to aid recruitment elsewhere.

Great idea!
Ringing Vouchers to use at various locations and events. Give the gift of ringing as an unforgettable experience with this voucher entitling up to 5 bell handling sessions.  Add your own tower contact information on the reverse. Who knows, it could be the start of someone discovering their bellringing adventure.

Ideally use in colour…ideal to display to advise of the special event

Always good to have a fresh supply – well-used ones can be replaced

This leaflet has been found very helpful in engaging further with our churches and there are sections of text that can guide us well when preparing articles for the media

This is the CCCBR’s Publicity section ..there is a wealth of information here so browsing of the 3 sections Recruitment, Events and General is suggested
