A&P District Practice – Winchester Cathedral

A wonderful opportunity to experience ringing at this very special Cathedral Tower with fellow District Ringers!
Any members of the A&P District are welcome to attend – please take this opportunity if you haven’t rung at Winchester Cathedral before!
Ringing will be from rounds upwards – speak to Jess or Rachael if you’d like guidance about attending.Support from as many of our experienced ringers as possible would be much appreciated.All under 18s must be accompanied by a parent, or a named person with an appropriate (i.e. Diocesan) DBS certificate.
Meeting point & time:
For those that have registed in advance, meet in the covered walkway on the south side of the Cathedral by 7:00pm, and we will ascend the Tower as a group until 7:15pm.
The door to the Tower will be locked when the last ringers have entered the Cathedral – so to avoid disappointment, please don’t be late!
Please wear appropriate shoes for climbing the narrow spiral staircase!
