Basingstoke District Carol Service – Ellisfield

DISTRICT CAROL SERVICE

This will be held at St Martin’s, Ellisfield on Saturday 14th December. Ringing will be from 2:30pm with a service at 4pm followed by mulled wine and mince pies in Ellisfield Memorial Hall!

We are very lucky that Bishop David, the Bishop of Basingstoke, has agreed to come and take the service for us and spend some time meeting us all afterwards!

In addition, we wondered if there was interest and ability to put together a Ringers’ Choir to sing a three or four part anthem as part of the service. We’d probably have a couple of short rehearsals before the day when convenient. Please let Adam know if you are interested.

It would also be great to have the lessons read by representatives from lots of different towers. Again, if you would be willing to do a reading, please let Adam know.
