Further information

A warm welcome from the bell ringers at St Mary the Virgin, Eling!

We have a fine ring of eight bells, cast between 1775 and 1978. Our main weekly practice is on Tuesday evenings 7.30 – 9.00pm. We ring anything from Rounds & Call Changes up to Surprise Major. We welcome visitors of all abilities!

We have an excellent training facility here with ART accredited ringing teachers. We also have our own ‘simulator’ (a device which simulates the sound of the bells without making a noise outside while the bells are being rung) which is used on Saturday mornings 9.00 – 11.00am for our special ‘Beginners and Improvers’ practice. So, if you are interested in learning to ring then please do come along or contact the Tower Secretary using the link below.
