This was held at St Michael, Basingstoke in the Basingstoke District on Saturday 16th September. Previously this competition had be held on the same day as the 6 bell in May but this year the decision was made to move it to September to stop potential clashes.
In the week before the competition, the forecast was for thunderstorms however we were blessed with a dry and pleasant day. The competition was judged by David Kircaldy, accompanied by Kathy Howard from Sussex. We had entries from 6 tower teams and the committee also decided to allow a team from the W&P youths to take part.
